Counselling for Depression

In Touch understands how overwhelming depression can be, which is why Wendy offers a counselling service specifically designed to help you manage your symptoms.

Wendy uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to give you the expert guidance and techniques you need to overcome your depression and move towards a brighter future.

Counselling for Anxiety

It's normal to feel weighed down by anxiety. However, if it is starting to interfere with your everyday life, it may be time to seek help. In Touch offers counselling for anxiety using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), a proven method that helps you identify and challenge negative thought patterns that contribute to your worries and stress.

Together, we'll work on practical strategies to help you manage your issues and regain control of your life.

In Touch Couples Counselling

Concerns about finance, employment, health or family problems affect relationships for both individuals and couples; such pressures mean that it is easy to lose sight of personal priorities.

Couples counselling can help to explore new ways of interacting rather than replaying destructive elements which adversely affect relationships; it provides the arena and framework for honest conversations and a positive way forward.

Counselling for Low Self-Esteem

Self-esteem relates to the value we place on ourselves.

Individuals with low self-esteem will often be self-critical, judgemental and generally negative about themselves and their achievements.

During these sessions you will learn to identify situations which trigger negative thoughts and impact behaviour.

Payments are made after each session preferably by BACS payment or cash.

Session Overview

What you can expect from us at In Touch

During your initial contact In Touch tries to understand some of the issues that you may be coping with in more detail. By gaining this information on the telephone, Wendy is then able to make better use of the time available at our first session.

In couples counselling, there is the option to see clients separately before the joint counselling sessions are agreed upon.

Your first session provides the opportunity to gain a better understanding of your needs and to see if we can work together. Whilst there is no obligation for further sessions, once we have both agreed that counselling is appropriate, In Touch will recommend that we schedule future appointments.
